The rapper’s team has just launched a website showing what they claim is new evidence that proves his innocence. Now, Amber has added her two cents in a recent interview, revealing a jailhouse call she had with Tory that flipped her whole perspective of the situation. Additionally, Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna is in the mix, sharing how Amber tipped her to dig into Tory’s case, and in doing so, she uncovered some plot holes.

Amber Rose Says Tory’s Innocent And Deserves A Pardon
On Wednesday, May 28, Amber appeared on Chris Cuomo’s NewsNation show. The mom of two was crystal clear about why she’s riding for Tory, who’s currently serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan.
Amber Rose started off saying that “the evidence shows that he’s innocent, and he deserves to be pardoned by Gavin Newsom. He’s 100% exonerated from the gun, and for that alone, he should be home with his family.”

Cuomo then proceeded by bringing up the DNA evidence that could’ve belonged to any of the four people in the car that night. He also mentioned that Tory allegedly sent an apology, though it’s unclear what he was actually sorry for. He went on to recall Meg and her ex-BFF, Kelsey Harris, pointing fingers at Tory following the altercation, accusing him of shooting the ‘Ungrateful’ lyricist.
Amber Rose wasn’t fazed, though. She told Cuomo she had personally spoken to the Canadian native, and it was during this call that things became clearer to her. “I heard the full story from Tory’s mouth,” she said. “He called me personally from prison, and I now understand why he said sorry, and it’s not for any shooting at all.”
Amber’s keeping the details of that conversation on lock, saying she’ll let Tory reveal the context of that particular situation with the apology when he’s free. But she’s convinced that the new details that his team has presented prove that he doesn’t belong behind bars.
Tory’s Team Comes Forward With New Deets In The Shooting Case
On Thursday, May 29, Tory’s camp launched a website, 36hourslater.com. The page claims to be packed with what’s believed to be never-before-seen evidence proving Tory’s innocence. One major key? Testimony from eyewitness Sean Kelly. He claimed he saw a woman, believed to be Kelsey, jump out of the car that night and get into it with Meg.
The woman in question then fired shots inside the vehicle, per TMZ, contriving claims that Tory was the shooter. That’s not all. The website also dropped medical records showing no bullet fragments in Megan’s initial foot X-rays.
Additionally, there’s body cam footage where Meg allegedly told first responders she stepped on glass, failing to mention that she was shot. Tory’s team also addressed a phone call in which he supposedly admitted to feeling sorry, though, in this call, he doesn’t actually state what he’s apologetic for.
The website claims the phone call was taken entirely out of context. Notably, his camp also highlights inconsistencies in Kelsey’s statement to authorities. They also pointed out that she had dodged testifying under oath despite having immunity.

Megan’s Lawyer Claps Back, Claiming Tory’s Team Is Desperate
Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer, Alex Shapiro, is not here for any of it, though. With social media in a frenzy over Tory’s team declaring his innocence, Shapiro dropped a statement. He said the rapper’s camp can’t seem to get their story straight.
“Last week, they argued that Kelsey Harris shot Megan, and now, they’re claiming that Megan only stepped on glass. They continue to rehash old evidence from trial and re-package it as new information to desperately sway public opinion.”
Via XXL, Shapiro called the website a “sad attempt” to copy their presentation style and spread lies. He added, “It’s embarrassing that Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is integrating herself into the California criminal justice system for clickbait.”

Anna Paulina Luna Reveals Amber Got Her Involved In Tory’s Case
Anna had previously told TMZ in an interview that she started paying closer attention to Tory’s case after being tipped by Amber. She told the news outlet that she deems the TV personality a friend of hers.
While conducting her research on the case, Anna noticed a string of inconsistencies. She added that Tory should never have been imprisoned, given the lack of evidence presented against him during the trial.
“Specifically, how I got involved in this case is, I actually am friends with Amber Rose, and she had flagged it for me,” she said. “And when I actually spoke to the the attorneys that are representing Mr. Lanez, they presented me with evidence […] When I saw the evidence that was brought forward, we’re talking no forensic DNA on the magazine of the pistol.”
