We’re pretty sure everyone remembers last year when Suge Knight was caught on camera allegedly running over two men with his truck. The hit and run happened after he showed up to a promotional shoot for the film, ‘Straight Outta Compton,.’
Unfortunately one of the victims, Terry Carter, lost his life due to the hit and run.
According to TMZ, Carter’s family filed a wrongful death lawsuit where Ice Cube and Dr. Dre were named as defendants along with Suge Knight. The family claims that both Dr. Dre and Ice Cube hired well-known gang members as security for the shoot.
Once security kicked Suge off the set, he was seen on surveillance video allegedly running over Carter and another man. A court ruled that both Ice Cube and Dr. Dre did not play a role in Carter’s death because, “it is unfathomable to blame them for Knight’s reckless and allegedly criminal act.”
Suge Knight claimed to have feared for his life when leaving the promotional shoot. The lawsuit still remains against Suge as he awaits a murder trial for the hit and run.
