Claressa Shields is keeping it 100, admitting she feels pressure regarding her body image. In a clip circulating online, she admitted that she used to feel a little insecure, especially after seeing her timeline flooded with snatched bodies and BBLs.

Claressa Shields Gets Vulnerable About Feeling The Pressure To Look Snatched
In a clip LiveBitez shared, Claressa Shields said she went through a phase where she kept comparing her body to other women. She said she caught herself sizing up her shape against girls with rock-hard abs and BBLs. But eventually, she snapped out of it and reminded herself that her body is all-natural and still hitting. “I told myself I’m going to quit being so hard on myself because this is natural!” Shields said.
Claressa also reflected on a rough time in her career when she faced a possible suspension for testing positive for marijuana back in February. A month later, reports came out saying she wasn’t facing any punishment, but she said the whole thing had her stressed and depressed, and she coped by eating a lot. She later showed off her side profile and let fans know her stomach used to poke out heavily, but now, after putting in work, she’s slimmed down. Claressa dropped a message to anyone struggling with comparisons, saying, “Don’t be so hard on yourself.”
Additionally, she explained that she’s not throwing shade at anyone who had surgery. Shields said if it gets to a point where she wants to lose some extra weight, she’s going to consider doing something to get rid of the weight, but she won’t be going under the knife.

Claressa has always been transparent about her looks. In a clip LiveBitez shared, she clapped back at trolls for saying Papoose helped with her glow-up. Claressa made it really clear that she’s always been THAT girl. She said folks started digging up pics trying to figure out if they were before or after Pap, but she shut down all the claims real quick. “Y’all looking at pictures from when I was 17 and comparing them to now, saying, ‘Oh, this is before Pap, and this is after Pap.’ No,” Shields said.
Claressa continued to double down and reminded folks that she’d been popping long before Papoose. However, she did admit that they still add value to each other, adding, “It’s a reason why he’s attracted to me. We make each other better.”
