Okay, so BOOM! For context, TSR grabbed a clip of Laila Ali chopping it up about whether she’d really hop in the ring with Claressa Shields. When the interviewer asked if she’d really do it, Laila made it real clear, saying she’s ONLY down if there’s $15 to $20 million on the line. If not? Don’t even bother calling her about it.
“Unless somebody calls me and says they have it, we not even going to have a conversation,” Ali added. “I’m not trying to come back and fight, but if someone offered that kind of money.. I would actually have to think about it.”
Whew, chile! Claressa might’ve peeped Laila’s comments, because she ended up sliding over to X (formerly Twitter) with a response. The champ didn’t hold back and told Muhammad Ali’s daughter to watch what she wishes for.
