The streets are talking, and it looks like one of Atlanta’s most talked-about reality stars just caught a major break! After months of headlines and heavy speculation, burglary charges against ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ OG Karlie Redd have officially been dropped. Yep, you read that right — dropped.

Karlie Redd Beats The Case
According to reports, DeKalb County prosecutors signed off on a “nolle prosequi” order, which basically means the state decided not to move forward with the case. Karlie’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, also confirmed on X that the case was “dismissed.” Steve shared that while there was “probable cause,” prosecutors didn’t believe they could prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt. Translation: case closed, sis is walking free.
As previously reported, the reality star — government name Karlie Lewis — was detained in Atlanta back in April after allegedly stepping onto private property and taking a few personal items. Reports say the spot belonged to her estranged hubby, Teleau Davinci Belton, with whom she secretly tied the knot last year after a whirlwind engagement. A judge quickly hit her with a no-contact order and told her to stay away, while Karlie faced a first-degree burglary charge and reportedly bonded out on $15,000.

Karlie Sets The Record Straight
Now here’s where it gets even messier — Karlie says the whole ordeal stemmed from her ongoing divorce drama. In a statement, she made it clear she’s standing firm on her innocence:
“…I was never guilty of the allegations made against me. These claims were completely untrue, and I was unfairly targeted by false statements made by my ex-husband.”
Additionally, Karlie also took a moment to thank her family, friends, and legal team for riding with her through the storm. And if you know anything about the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ veteran, you know she’s not letting this slow her down. The reality TV staple — one of the only three cast members to appear in every single season since ‘LHHATL’ launched back in 2012 — says she’s now focused on healing and helping others.
“My focus now is on continuing my work, advocating for survivors, and moving forward with strength and grace.”
