The Game is demanding a rematch when it comes to his civil sex abuse case with Priscilla Rainey.
The rapper was ordered to pay his former love show contestant $7 million recently but Bossip is now reporting that he has taken the steps forward to appeal the judgement.
The Game, who’s real name is Jayceon Taylor, filed documents to have his case be seen before the U.S. Court of Appeals where he wants to have a new trial, Bossip reports.
He is also requesting that the judge reduce the amount of cash the judge required him to cough up. His attorney called the amount “monstrously excessive” according to court documents.
Well Rainey and her legal team don’t seem bothered by the move as her attorneys tell Bossip, “We are not at all concerned by the recent filings.”
Rainey had sued The Game for $10 million after she alleges that the rapper forcibly groped her vagina during a date while on his “She’s Got Game” reality show last year.
The judge, who seemed especially moved by her story, awarded Rainey another $6 million in punitive damages and $1 million in compensatory damages.
The Game, on the other hand, feels as though he was set up from the beginning after a video of an apparent heated argument between the two was shown. He called the video “extremely prejudice” and says that beyond the video there is no other physical evidence that backs up what Priscilla accused him of.
He also argues that the fact that the judge refused to halt the trial while he had surgery made it hard for him to appear in court during the trial.
