On Saturday, Jordyn took to Instagram and shared how the ultimate surprise started with a casual conversation this past summer. The model recalled Karl saying that if he could drive any car, it wouldn’t be “anything crazy,” but simply the car his mom used to drive when he was a kid.
“During the summer Karl asked me if I could drive any car for a day which one would it be.. I answered and his response was ‘I wouldn’t pick anything crazy, I just really loved my mom’s car she had when I was a kid.’ So I went on a mission these past months to find the car, shipped it across the country, got it fixed up and was able to surprise him with it today for his 30th!” she revealed in her caption.

He shared that he leaned on her because she truly understood his pain, having been super close with her own father, and was one of the only people who could relate to what he was going through.
Karl also revealed some next-level love vibes from his late mom, saying she made sure he wouldn’t be alone after her passing. “A woman that meant so much to me in my life left my life to be replaced by another woman to take that spot,” he said, explaining that Jordyn stepped in not just as a girlfriend but as a real ride-or-die partner and best friend.
