Over the weekend, a woman with the TikTok handle @tarababy99 took to the platform in an apparent livestream. During her time on stream, she said that she was “trying to figure out why Latto don’t claim me and s**t.”
“Y’all guess is as good as mine… I’m not giving them too much. I ain’t spilling too much — but when I write that book or do that podcast, she gon’ be mad,” the woman told viewers in subsequent clips posted to social media. “‘Cause imma give the people what they need to know, okay?… Same daddy, y’all. Same daddy… Oh, y’all, she don’t talk to me ’cause I’m the broke sister. How many times I gotta say that… I’m the broke sister, she don’t talk to me… It’s about to hit the fan for sure. It need to hit the fan.”

Latto Seemingly Reacts
Since then, TikTok users have gathered in the comment section of the woman’s recent videos — some questioning the validity of her claims and others saying that she was just joking. In a TikTok posted eighteen hours ago, the woman acknowledged her viral clip. But said she “wasn’t trying to get into all the comments,” and at the end of the day, knows who she is.
“I never asked for stuff to go this viral, but it has,” she said in part. “So it’s really no turning back, you know?”

Meanwhile, during the early hours of December 1, Latto took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to seemingly address the internet and the woman’s claims.
“Y’all believe anything in bold font when it come to me,” she wrote.
