About a week ago, TikTok user @Sabrina.bazadona took to the platform to share a clip with her followers. Furthermore, the video showed an apparent city setting with a large billboard in the center of the frame. In bold letters, the billboard read, “Men disappoint.”

Then, sometime after January 17, Kristy Scott’s TikTok followers noticed that she added the clip to her list of reposts on the platform. TikTok users entered the clip’s comment section to note they peeped her apparent agreement with the phrase.

Furthermore, the phrase signifies a growing social media trend which Google defines as “a popular, dismissive phrase used online to express disinterest or disgust towards something (or someone) and signal that you’re not going to engage further.”
