Alright now! Chris Brown has officially received an honorary Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Visual & Performing Arts from Harvest Christian University. The honorary degree was awarded on May 23, 2026, recognizing Chris’ impact on music, dance, and entertainment over the past two decades. In photos shared on his Instagram account, Breezy posed in front of a white truck while holding his degree and rocking his ceremonial robe. Another close-up shot gave fans a look at the degree itself, which featured his full government name. A separate photo captured the singer smiling on stage as members of the university placed a ceremonial drape around his neck during the presentation. And, his caption let us know, he means business as he wrote, “I DID A THING!”
