Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley, whose legal name is Terry Wallace, faced multiple felony charges back in 2014. The charges were tied to armed robberies committed while he attended Michigan State University, per WILX.
In 2016, Tee Grizzley’s breakout hit, ‘First Day Out,’ was inspired by his release from prison and journey through legal troubles. Throughout the years, the rapper has been very open about changing his life for the better and leaving his old lifestyle behind. He’s become a family man while still juggling life as an artist. He’s also expanded into new business ventures.
Now, Tee Grizzley is celebrating a new milestone.

Tee Grizzley Reflects On His Second Chance After Getting His Record Expunged
It was a celebration on Wednesday after his Michigan felony record was expunged by Judge Rosemarie Aquilina. The rapper shared that he had been working for the last two years to get his record expunged. He also revealed that having felonies on his record had cost him business opportunities throughout the years.
During the celebration, two Ingham County teens had their felony weapons charges reduced to misdemeanors. They completed the county’s juvenile weapons court program.
Tee Grizzley spoke highly of the program and encouraged the teens to take advantage of their second chance. The rapper later took to his platform, sharing photos with the judge and his family. He celebrated the news and thanked God for reaching the milestone. “Every felony GONE!!!! Thank you God,” Tee Grizzley wrote.
He then encouraged others with a record to keep working, praying, and growing despite their past mistakes.

Tee Grizzley Has Been Balancing Family Life And His Growing Gaming Empire
When Tee Grizzley isn’t making music, he’s been spending time with his family or growing his gaming empire. The rapper married My’Eisha Agnew on June 4, 2023. The couple shares children together, including a son born in February 2021. They also welcomed another baby boy in May 2025.
While balancing family life and music, Tee Grizzley has continued building his GTA V FiveM server, Grizzley World. Back in 2022, the rapper revealed that his GTA gaming ventures were bringing in nearly $200,000 a month.
