1. Madonna Kicks Off The VMAs With Sabrina Carpenter
According to the Associated Press, “it’s mother” were the first words Madonna uttered as she opened the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards with her 2026 single ‘Bring Your Love’ and her collaborator Sabrina Carpenter. She channeled the energy of a dance floor on the stage and gagged the attendees and viewers when Charli xcx emerged from a club bathroom to perform their reworked version of ‘Danceteria.’ Her performance included dancers and a few famous friends, including actor Debi Mazar, Sombr and Julia Garner. Later that evening, Madonna and Sabrina won the ‘Best Collaboration’ award for ‘Bring Your Love.’
