Diddy Reportedly Returns To Solitary Amid Investigation
According to TMZ, jail officials are moving the music mogul back into the Special Housing Unit, commonly known as SHU or solitary confinement, at FCI Fort Dix following a report about his alleged VIP treatment inside the federal prison. Multiple sources told TMZ that Diddy’s return to SHU is part of the facility’s process as officials investigate the allegations.
What Has He Been Up To In Jail?
As previously reported, video appeared to catch Diddy seemingly using a cellphone while incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix, adding another layer to the headlines surrounding his time behind bars. The outlet also reported allegations that the 56-year-old has been enjoying perks that include Chinese-style massages and cognac.

Furthermore, Diddy allegedly had access to a contraband cellphone, which he reportedly used to view nude photos of an ex. The outlet also reported allegations that other inmates made his bed, did his laundry, cleaned his toilet, and prepared meals, including curry chicken, pizza, and empanadas. Diddy has previously spent time in SHU, including a stint in July following a reported prison fight. Sources said officials then restricted his movement and his outside contact.
Diddy’s Release Date Changes Again
Additionally, as previously reported, on Tuesday, September 29, Diddy’s projected prison release date was reportedly moved up again to January 21, 2028. The mogul was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being convicted on two counts under the Mann Act. The charges stemmed from allegations that he transported individuals across state lines to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges. In addition to his prison sentence, Diddy was ordered to serve five years of supervised release and pay a $500,000 fine.
