EXCLUSIVE: Joseline Hernandez Gets Real About Baby Shower Plans, Stevie J, What Bonnie Bella Is Really Like & More

Joseline reflected on returning to motherhood after a decade, while giving her husband and daughter their flowers for holding her down throughout her pregnancy. “I haven’t had a baby in 10 years… I birthed my first daughter 10 years ago.” She also expressed gratitude for the people who have stood by her throughout the journey. “…my husband and my daughter have been my biggest supporters. And because of them, I’m here. They love on me every day, they make sure I’m doing well, they talk to me, they support me.”

Joseline Hernandez opened up about how she and Ballistic Beats are raising Bonnie Bella to be well-rounded and prepared for the future. From learning multiple languages to exploring her entrepreneurial interests, the couple is focused on giving their daughter the tools to succeed. “I try to make her do things that are different: playing the piano, learning other languages, speaking Spanish and Mandarin, and just doing things that make her better…She takes entrepreneurial classes.” Joseline also revealed that Bonnie attends “one of the top schools in America.” Despite raising her daughter in the public eye, Joseline remains proud of the young woman Bonnie is becoming. “She’s a very special young lady. She’s the best kid in the world in my eyes.”

Joseline had nothing but love for her husband, praising his support as a partner, father figure, and businessman. “He’s like one of those men that anything that I want to do in life, he makes it happen.” She also revealed that Ballistic helped bring her vision of owning her own network to life. “He went ahead and built the mind network. He built ‘Why Are You Here TV.’ He was like, ‘We could just upload our own shows here.” When it comes to their relationship, Joseline made it clear just how much Ballistic means to her. “He’s my air that I breathe, and he’s just such a good guy. I’ve never met a guy this wholesome and so proper, with so much manners. Just so loving.” She also shared how much Bonnie Bella adores him, adding, “And my daughter Bonnie loves him. Like, that’s her papa. He does everything for her.”

When asked how she protects her peace amid the recent situation involving Stevie J, Joseline said her focus is on her immediate family. “To be real with you, I have to ignore anything that doesn’t concern the family. And the family is Ballistic, Bonnie Bella, Joseline, and the new baby.” She explained why she doesn’t entertain opinions from people who aren’t involved in her family’s life. “When people aren’t around, when people haven’t been around, when people don’t contribute to what our family has going on, you really can’t pay them any attention…because it’s like, where have you been at? Now all of a sudden you wanna come and say your peace, or whatever nonsense you’re speaking about.” Joseline added, “Nobody cares about what a random person says about our family.”

Joseline opened up about how her own childhood shaped her parenting, explaining that open communication is one of her top priorities. “When I was growing up, I didn’t have those conversations with my mom, and I resent that.” She wants her children to feel comfortable expressing themselves and asking questions without fear of judgment. “You gotta talk to them like they’re adults. They know what’s up.” She’s even had conversations with Bonnie Bella about her past as a stripper, showing that she’s willing to be honest about her experiences rather than leave her children to hear about them from someone else. “ She knows my dirty little secrets… Don’t let them get caught off guard.” Joseline also emphasized the importance of teaching her children to embrace their cultural identities. “And I’m very intentional about them loving being Hispanic. And being Black.”

After nearly 18 years on television, Joseline says she continues to evolve by staying true to herself and remaining open to new opportunities. “…I’ve been on TV freaking almost 18 years.“ And some way, somehow I continue to reinvent myself. Don’t ask me how I do that. ‘Cause I don’t know how I do that.” She also revealed that she plans to document the arrival of her newest addition through her own network. “…I’m gonna have my baby on the network, so I’ll be delivering another baby on TV for ‘Why Are You Here TV.'”
