The estranged couple is now dealing with a court order involving the sale of Kevin’s music catalog. And now, Dreka is reportedly set to receive a portion of the proceeds as their legal battle continues.

Kevin Gates Has To Run Dreka Gates Her Money
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the proceeds from the catalog sale must be deposited into a Morgan Stanley account managed by former Bread Winners Association CFO Robert Bracy, with public accountant William Duerksen also authorized on the account. The order reportedly outlines how the funds will be distributed, including money for support, legal fees, and other expenses tied to the proceedings.
Per the reported breakdown, Dreka is set to receive $929,341.50 for child and spousal support from the proceeds, along with an additional $150,000 paid directly to her. Kevin is expected to receive $538,798 upfront, followed by monthly payments of $225,000 starting in October. Meanwhile, Dreka’s attorneys are slated to receive $125,000 in legal fees, her accountant will receive $100,000, and $103,000 will go to a third-party mediation service.

The latest development comes amid ongoing financial disputes between the former couple. Kevin previously took to social media accusing Dreka of “attacking his image,” claiming they had been separated since 2020 and alleging she filed for divorce after he stopped giving her money. He also accused Dreka and her family of taking money from him. Moreover, he called on her to tell the truth about their relationship.
Dreka dropped a “new era” post also arrives amid their ongoing divorce. As TSR previously reported, she filed for divorce in July 2025, citing irreconcilable differences. By October, reports revealed that Dreka was seeking more than $70,000 in monthly support. She also alleged Kevin failed to cover property taxes and their children’s tuition.
