Jay-Z is confirmed as the Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show performer. The recording artist and NFL confirmed the news on Monday, October 26, during Monday Night Football. The announcement was made as a video featuring Jay-Z seated in an empty stadium. It’s set to his track, ‘Public Service Announcement‘ with text reading “GOAT’S OUT OF THE BAG.” The announcement was also shared on Instagram with the caption:
“GOAT’s out of the bag. @jayz #AppleMusicHalftime #SBLXI.”

The 25-time Grammy Award winner will headline the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime show at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Valentine’s Day, per the NFL. Singers Justin Bieber, Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus were reportedly being considered for the gig before the announcement, according to TMZ.
