#Roommates, earlier today it was reported that an ongoing investigation was taking place after shots were fired in lower Manhattan. According to @CNN, one suspect is now in custody after plowing a Home Depot truck into a crowd of people leaving at least 6 dead.
It seems the suspect drove the truck in the opposite direction of the West Side Highway bike path injuring innocent bystanders for a few blocks. Once the driver exited the vehicle displaying firearms, NYPD officers fired shots at the suspect. The individual is in custody and has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Multiple law enforcement sources are saying the incident is being investigated as terrorism.
