A Seventh-grader at Jackson Memorial Middle School reportedly shot himself early Tuesday morning. As a result, multiple other schools in the Jackson Local School District were put on lockdown.
The boy shot himself in the restroom around 7:05 a.m. and was later taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown, as well as details of whether the self-inflicted shooting was intentional or not.
According to reports, no other students or faculty have been injured.
