A$AP Bari, one of the A$AP Mob cofounders, was recently arrested on drug-related charges in Pennsylvania.
Bari was picked up Thursday in Palmer Township and hit with two counts of manufacturing, delivery or possession with intent to distribute drugs, law enforcement officials told @TMZ_tv. It wasn’t immediately clear what drugs Bari is accused of selling.
He has also been charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at the Northampton County Prison where his bail was set at $25,000. He has since been released after bonding out.
Now as y’all may know, #Roommates, A$AP Bari is no stranger to trouble. As we previously reported, Bari was arrested in London back in May on suspicion of sexual assault.
While traveling overseas he stopped at London’s Heathrow Airport where authorities arrested him.
Last year, a woman sued him after she claimed that he sexually assaulted her in a London hotel last July while some of the A$AP Mob was in town.
He allegedly did not rape her, but Bari’s friend did record a video of him pulling sheets off of the woman, exposing her body and then kicking her out into the hotel hallway naked.
In return, Bari sought legal action against the woman, claiming she’s lying for a payday.
Legal docs showed that Bari says the woman only started alleging sexual assault after she got a lawyer. He also said in the docs that the woman was interviewed by police the night of the alleged assault, and he says she told officers she had not been assaulted but was worried about a naked video of her leaking on the Internet.
Bari is suing the woman for defamation.
