Roommates, we know y’all have been waiting for some music from Rihanna for some time now, but sis is out here securing all types of fashion bags! RiRi has just confirmed her collaboration with Louis Vuitton’s LVMH for a joint luxury brand!
In an instagram post, Riri and LVMH announced the collab, which will join her other fashion ventures under the name Fenty. The new luxury Maison will be based in Paris, and will include a line of ready to wear shoes and accessories.
“Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector,” Rihanna said. “I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”
Rihanna made a name for herself in the industry of beauty and fashion with the release of her now world-wide famous ‘Fenty’ brand. This brand did not go unnoticed by LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, who says Fenty showed him RiRi’s potential as an entrepreneur.
“Everybody knows Rihana as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader,” he said. “She naturally finds her full place within LVMH.”
The line is reportedly set to release this Spring, and Bernard says the team is dedicating its resources to ensure the project is ready for release.
“To support Rihanna to start up the Fenty Maison, we have built a talented and multicultural team supported by the Group resources,” he said. “I am proud that LVMH is leading this venture and wish it will be a great success.”
