When Ciara first started dating Russell Wilson, people were so used to a certain type of man that they low-key tried to troll her and Russell Wilson, calling him “corny”. Tuh, fast forward to a few years later, and errrrrbody and their momma wants her “prayer” for a similar type of man they could call their own.
As fans continuously see Cici go through her journey of love and the acceptance of her son from her man, they’ve jokingly (and constantly) asked her for her prayer.
Ciara finally spilled a little tea on her prayer while chatting it up with Angie Martinez during a live stream event for her latest album, ‘Beauty Marks’.
Cici said she prayed for “a God-fearing man. I prayed for discernment. I prayed for wisdom, to really learn from the wisdom that I’ve gained from the experience that I’m going through.”
She added that she also prayed for what she needed. “I prayed for a man that loved kids, because, obviously me having my son, if you’re gonna love me you’ve got to love him. I prayed for a man that was worldly as well. Because I love to explore so someone that was gonna edify my world, that was important to me. I was ready to level up!”
