#Roommates, it’s only been a few weeks since the divorce between Monica and her ex-husband Shannon Brown was finalized. In that short time period, Shannon has continued to publicly express his love and appreciation for her, dyed his hair blonde—and now, he has a message for his fans and haters alike.
As Shannon Brown celebrates his 34th birthday, he decided to post a message on Instagram to give a special shout out to both those who support him and those who continue to hate. In a recent message, Shannon captioned a shirtless photo of himself with this telling message:
11-29-1985=34. Happy Birthday to everybody that hold the same day and sign as I do. I appreciate everybody that has shown and that got legit love for me. For everybody else (middle finger emoji). #FreshOutTheShower
Meanwhile, Monica appears to be out here living her best life since the couple split, as she recently celebrated her own birthday with friends T.I., Tiny and more. However, based on the recent positivity that each of them is currently posting on social media, it seems like their divorce was something that needed to happen for both of them.
Monica actually recently discussed her divorce from Shannon, saying:
“Even though I’m I’m on reality T.V., there there’s certain parts and elements of it that I’ve I’ve never discussed because when you get married, and it is between the two of you, and whatever happens within it, it’ sits God and us. No matter what happens, he will always get my absolute respect, gratitude, and also my assistance in being a part of whatever his life becomes … I’ll I’ll be there to support because that’s what I vowed to do, even when the other side of it does not work.”
Good for the both of them for having a positive outlook on such a public situation.
