Roommates, I’ll be honest, I don’t know if I’m intrigued, confused or both! If you use candles as a way to set the mood in your home, and if by chance the mood you’re going for screams “Quarter pounder with cheese” then McDonald’s may have something special for you! Earlier the popular franchise announced that they will be selling candles that smell like the ingredients of a quarter pounder burger.
That’s right, McDonald’s will be offering ketchup, onions, pickles, cheese, sesame seed bun and of course, ‘100% Beef” scented candles. I’m stressed just going through that list, but people on social media are already asking when and where can they purchase!
According to the franchise’s press release, they said: “We’re also celebrating a community that truly shares a love for the Quarter Pounder. On February 26, we will be honoring one lucky city that takes their fandom for the Quarter Pounder to new heights. To pay tribute, we’ll be unveiling a larger-than-life monument of this iconic burger. Just how big? Imagine a bronze statue so memorable that the sesame seeds on the bun are more than 20 times the size you experience on the delicious Quarter Pounder.
They continued: “For nearly 50 years the Quarter Pounder burger has been a craveable and delicious fan favorite. We know love is always in the air for our die-hard burger enthusiasts, so we launched the Quarter Pounder Fan Club to give everyone a tangible way to publicly display their affection for the hot and deliciously juicy 100% fresh beef** Quarter Pounder.
They also didn’t stop at just candles, there’s also limited edition merchandise that will include, mittens, calendars and even heart-shaped lockets for that special someone!
