Early Life
Born in Mableton, Georgia, Lil Yachty worked at McDonald’s, where he met a lot of producers and rappers. He attended the Alabama State University for two months before he dropped out to pursue his musical career.
He was influenced by numerous artists and different types of music, thanks to his father. From a very early age, he liked music that didn’t follow the norms, which he found very inspiring. That enticed him to try his luck in the world of music, so he moved from Georgia to New York City.

In 2017, Lil Yachty released his debut studio album Teenage Emotions, which features plenty of world-renowned artists and gave way to several huge hits. The following album, Lil Boat 2, continued his successful streak.
