Uh-oh, Miss Wendy’s, you got some competition, gworl! According to reports, McDonald’s is coming out with a spicy version of their chicken nuggets, a new dipping sauce, and a new McFlurry.
Starting Sept 16th, Spicy Chicken McNuggets will be available at all McDonald’s locations throughout the United States but for a limited time only.
Made with the same white-meat chicken that folks love now, the Spicy Chicken McNuggets are breaded in tempura coating that has a bit of cayenne and chili pepper, according to a press release.
It appears that Mickey D’s is really trying to do an upgrade. The company is also releasing a new sauce for the first time in three years. The Mighty Hot Sauce is coming with that heat, baabbiiieee! It’s reported that the sauce will contain a little razzle dazzle of spicy chilies and crushed red pepper flakes. It’s also said to be their spiciest flavor yet.
“This is the first time we’ve introduced a new flavor of our classic Chicken McNuggets in the U.S. since they came to menus in 1983,” Linda VanGosen, Vice President of Menu Innovation, said in the release. “As our customers have been asking for Spicy McNuggets for some time now, we couldn’t think of a better time to bring them to our menus. We can’t wait for McNuggets fans to get a taste of these new spicy options.”
Roomies, McDonald’s is coming for Wendy’s for real, chile. Tell me why they have decided to also add a new McFlurry?! Yes ma’am! The Chips Ahoy! McFlurry will be added to the menu as well.
A Vanilla soft serve with caramel sauce and crumbled Chips Ahoy! cookie pieces will be available on Sept 16th also.
Roomies, spicy nuggets, a new spicy sauce, and a new McFlurry?! Ooohhwwweee, I just need them to make sure the ice cream machine is working at all times. That way we won’t have a thang to worry about!
