Kodak Black is no stranger to speaking out from behind bars and detailing the alleged abuse he has been receiving from authorities. Now it looks like he is taking the legal route by suing the bureau of prisons for the alleged abuse.
According to TMZ, Kodak is suing the Federal Bureau of prisons along with its director, as well the warden of the Big Sandy maximum security prison, where he is currently serving his time.
In the documents obtained by the site, Kodak’s transfer to the maximum-security prison from a Miami prison was a result of an altercation with another inmate, which reportedly left an officer injured. Kodak claims that shortly after he arrived at Big Sandy, the guards put a “gang beating” on him. He also alleged that the officers “flicked” his testicles during the alleged abuse.
Kodak also alleges that he was placed by guards in a backless paper gown on a 4-point restraint for more than 6 hours, with no access to a bathroom. The lawsuit also alleged that Kodak was forced to use the bathroom on himself while the officers laughed at him. Kodak claims there are medical records that will show that the alleged abuse led to his mouth bleeding, lacerations and vomiting.
However, that is not all. Officers are also being accused of making Kodak get on his knees execution-style in just his underwear while soaking wet. As a result, he is claiming physical harm, emotional distress and humiliation.
Kodak’s legal team is also claiming that he is being denied access to a rabbi as he continues to practice Hebrew Israelite.
Kodak is looking to be moved to a lower-security prison, and he also wants damages and his legal fees covered.
As we previously reported, Kodak gave his last update from prison back in April, and once again he detailed the alleged treatment he had received from authorities.
