Earlier this year Tamar Braxton was unfortunately rushed to the hospital following an attempted suicide. Since her recovery, Tamar has thanked her supporters for uplifting her during such a dark moment in her life.
Now Tamar is speaking in detail about the moment with Taraji P. Henson on her new Facebook Watch show “Peace of Mind With Taraji.”
In an exclusive clip obtained by Entertainment Tonight, an emotional Tamar said to Taraji, “Logan was the reason why I made that decision. I just felt like he deserved better. I felt like I was embarrassing him, being a fool on TV.”
She continued to explain that was her thoughts within that moment.
Tamar continued, “Because I knew that’s not what my whole life really was. That’s not who I was. I didn’t want him to be embarrassed in front of his friends. Here is this loudmouth ghetto mama.”
As previously reported, back in July Tamar was found unresponsive back in her hotel room, by her now ex-boyfriend David Adefeso. At the time sources said Tamar had been emotional due to her contact dispute with WeTv.
In the end, WeTv released Tamar, but still aired the show she tried to prevent them from airing.
In her first return to social media following the incident, Tamar said, “My cry for help went totally ignored. I was no longer living, I was existing for the purpose of a corporations gain and ratings, and that killed me.”
We’re glad to see Tamar Braxton is now in a better place within her life.
