After being pardoned by Donald Trump before he officially made his exit from the presidential office, it looks like Kodak Black has already been released from prison.
Records from United States Penitentiary, Thomson, located in Illinois, show that Bill K. Kapri a.k.a Kodak Black was released on January 20th.
As previously reported, Kodak thanked Trump and said, “I want to thank the President Donald Trump for his commitment to justice reform and shortening my sentence. I also want to thank everyone for their support and love. It means more than you will ever know. I want to continue giving back, learning, and growing.”

Last October, TMZ reported that he was transferred to USP Thomson after he filed a lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Prisons for alleged torture. There were posts made to Kodak’s social media platforms on his behalf as he detailed the alleged abuse that he experienced while behind bars.
Last April when he was still located in Kentucky, he said, “Man These Ppl Stay Trynna F**k Me Ova, All This #Coronavirus S**t And Yall Talkin Bout Trynna Charge A N*gga For A Bogus Fight. If Y’all Gonna Charge Me DO IT NOW then, Don’t Try To Wait Until I’m Almost Home, Hell Naw, Then If Y’all Was Charging Me Why Y’all Letting Me Out Da Box?!”
As mentioned before, Kodak Black and Lil Wayne were a part of Donald Trump’s final list of pardons, which were released a few hours before his presidency ended.
