Whew! Erica Mena and Safaree seem to be taking a different route to handle their relationship problems this time around. The couple is infamous for throwing shots at one another on social media, but the two haven’t said much online regarding their divorce. Instead, they have been spewing legal documents at one another, and this time around, Erica is claiming Safaree has her stressed out!
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Erica claims she recently ended up in the hospital due to stress related to the divorce drama, and says Safaree is to blame. Erica says Safaree has not been supportive other needs, specifically during her most recent hospitalization.
The legal documents state Safaree has “failed to be involved in her care or to visit her at the hospital during her most recent stay, where she remained overnight for many days related to her pregnancy.”
As we previously reported, Safaree recently submitted documents of his own asking a judge to grant the couple joint custody of their children as well as requesting that he be present for the birth of his second child.
In the new documents, Erica Mena says she isn’t convinced Safaree made the requests with pure intentions and said he’s only doing this “in hopes of obtaining ‘good publicity’ and painting [Erica] as the instigator, while in actuality, [Erica’s] the only parent ensuring the parties’ children’s safety and acting in their best interest.
Erica also responded to Safaree’s request to be present when their second child is born, saying she will leave that decision up to herself and her doctor.
