As parents prepare to get their children ready to go back to school this year, it seems like this season has become very stressful for some single mothers. Today makes the second time that a woman has called out their celebrity child’s father for not being financially available in their child’s life.
As we previously reported, Brittni Mealy called out Future this week for allegedly not helping their son and refused to give him money for school clothes.
Today Ashley, the mother to the son of super-producer Southside, shared a message calling him out for not providing school supplies or clothes for their son RJ.
On her Instagram story, she shared a lengthy note saying it was unfortunate that she had to share this information online and that more strangers were supporting her rather than her real family. In the note, the mother of two called out Southside for flexing on Instagram but not sending a box of clothes and supplies to their child. In addition, she shared that she created a GoFundMe account with a $2,500 goal to help raise money for her seven-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter.
In the description, Ashley detailed her struggle of being a single mother. She further explained that she is currently not working due to the COVID-19 pandemic and that she’s a full-time caregiver for her diabetic daughter. All of which has made it hard for her to maintain bills and putting food on the table.
Ashley also doubled down on her claims that Southside has refused to pay child support payments for RJ. In the past, she has called him out for the same thing.
At this time, Southside hasn’t responded to the claims, but if he does, we’ll keep yall posted!
