Apollo Nida sat down with Be 100 Radio to do his first interview since he was sentenced to 8 years in prison. If you are anything like us, then you were wondering…how the hell did he have the time to do this interview? Well, Apollo set up an agreement with the Judge that allowed him to do at least one interview since being sentenced so that he could clear some things up.
In the interview, Apollo spoke about a number of things. He went into detail about the crime that he committed (bank fraud) and talked about cooperating with law enforcement to reduce scam artists with schemes similar to his own. Apollo also spoke about all of his friends abandoning him as soon as he was hit with his charges. He said the only person that remained in his corner was his brother.
Yes, when he says that everyone abandoned him, that includes his wife Phaedra Parks. He said that he believes they won’t last as a couple because she didn’t even show up to his sentencing. Apollo said that if she couldn’t show up to his sentencing then he knows she won’t support him while he is in jail. We want to feel sorry for Apollo…then we slap ourselves and remember that he was the fool that got out of prison and was blessed with a beautiful family and life…then destroyed it all to do the same thing he was released from prison for the first time! Now that’s a fool we can’t feel sorry for!
Apollo has also been hit with a 2 Million Dollar fine that he has to payback. The breakdown is: JP Morgan Chase $828,300 — IRS $127,011 — Delta Airlines $24,985 — State of California $15,778 — State of Connecticut $45,525 — State of Texas $39,275. Now we wonder, how the hell is he going to pay this money back? Will they hit Phaedra Parks with the bill? Lawd!
