Tina Snow is back! Megan Thee Stallion is giving fans what they want and is dropping her new single, ‘Plan B’ this Friday! Megan had ‘Plan B’ trending online after announcing it earlier today. The H-Town Hottie shared a steamy picture of herself sitting in a tub filled with bubbles along with the caption, “‘Plan B’ out Friday. Presave it now.” Megan had to get fans straight just hours before the release, letting them know the song wasn’t titled, ‘Letter To My Ex.’
The song received a significant response following its debut at Coachella last weekend. The track is an ode to the ’90s and samples Jodeci and WuTang’s “Freak’n You” remix. Fans felt like the song resembled Lil Kim, and the Queen Bee’s name quickly trended online. One person tweeted,
“Lil Kim’s flow is unmatched, and it’s nice to see the girls studying the queen again!!” Another tweeted, “It’s giving Lil Kim, and I need the official song NEOW!!! Tina Snow back.”
If that wasn’t enough, the lyrics alone are paying homage to rappers who came before Meg!
“Popping Plan B’s cuz I ain’t plan to be stuck with ‘cha and d**k don’t run me, I run d**k.” Queen Latifah popped into the conversation when Meg said, “Ladies, love yourself cause’ this sh*t could get ugly. That’s why it’s f**k n****s, get money.”
If you’re not familiar, Latifah rapped over the same beat on her song, ‘Name Callin’ Part 2’, in response to Foxy Brown’s ‘10%’ diss.
It looks like Latifah gave Megan’s song the stamp of approval because she reposted Megan teasing the song’s release on her Instagram story.
