#Roommates, if you grew up listening to gospel music then you know all about the legendary Clark Sisters! These sisters are saved, sanctified and can SANGGG! They also have a powerful story to tell, and according to reports, a new biopic about their lives is in the works!
The group confirmed the news on their Instagram page and revealed that Missy Elliott, Queen Latifah and Mary J. Blige are already attached to the project as executive producers. The film is titled, “You Brought The Sunshine: The Story of the Clark Sisters” and is slated to premiere on Lifetime early next year.
“It is with great anticipation that we share with you the story of the Clark Sisters “You Brought The Sunshine” coming early 2019 we are so excited,” they posted.

The Clark Sisters — Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Jacky Clark-Chisholm, and Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark-Terrell— are best known for hits like “Blessed & Highly Favored,” “Is My Living In Vain” and “You Brought The Sunshine.”
Roommates, who do you think should be cast to play the sisters?
