It seems like just about everyone is getting their own biopic now a days. Next person on the list to get a film about her life and career is none other than Ms. Toni Braxton.
In a recent press release from Lifetime, it was revealed that the network would be working on a biopic about the songstress based on her 2014 memoir “Un-Break My Heart.”
Although Lifetime still gets the side eye when we hear their name and biopic in the same sentence, things seem a little different this time around. Toni Braxton herself will be fully involved with this project as she is serving as the films executive producer, and it has yet to be confirmed, but she may also be starring in the film as well.
The biopic will focus on Toni’s illness, previous financial troubles, her divorce from former Mint Condition musician Keri Lewis, and even her son’s battle with autism. Vondie Curtis Hill will be directing the film and it’s being reported that production will begin later on this year.
