Is this going above and beyond the call of duty, #Roommates? An on-duty police officer who was patrolling a local childrens hospital in #Argentina breastfed a crying baby to calm him down.
#OfficerCelesteAyala recently became a mother herself, and could tell from the infants cries that the baby needed food, so she sat down on a chair outside the hospital ward and breastfed him, according to CNN. The officers partner, #MarcosHeredia, was so moved by her instinctive act to soothe the baby that he snapped a photo of the act that has now gone viral.
“I want to make public this great gesture of love that you displayed today with this baby,” Heredia said on the post. Because she acted quickly, the officer has now been promoted to sergeant.
