President Obama sat down with a North Carolina radio station on Friday and discussed how 18 year old Malia, and 15 year old Sasha are at that stage in life where they ditch family dinners to go on dates.
POTUS described that he’s “pretty relaxed about it for two reasons.”
“One is Michelle.” He said. “She’s such a great example of how she carries herself, her self-esteem, not depending on boys to validate how you look or not letting yourself be judged by anything other than your character and intelligence.” *Preach
“Hopefully I’ve been a good example in terms of how I show respect to my wife. So I don’t worry about it because they’re really solid, smart girls—young ladies now,” he added.
I’m sure we could almost all guess what The President’s second reason is.
“The other reason is they have Secret Service.” Boom. That part.
“There’s only so much these guys can do,” he continued. “These poor young men come by my house and…”
“They have no idea–” the radio host said. Obama clearly doesn’t play those games though because his response was in pure daddy mode.
“No, they have an idea. I describe for them.” He said as he laughed. It’s safe to conclude that none of the boys would be laughing in that moment of description.
I just want to meet at least one of the girls dates just to pick his brain…I have so many questions about this entire process and I need answers.
