Amanda Seales Announced As The New Permanent Co-Host Of The Real

Congrats are in order to Amanda Seales, she has been announced as the new official co-host of “The Real.”

The announcement was made Monday morning as the ladies kicked off their first episode of 2020. Amanda has been a guest host on the show a few times, but now she has scored a permanent seat at the table with the other co-hosts, Lonnie Love, Tamera Mowry, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Bailon.

The ladies have been teasing a special announcement for the past few shows, and the cat is finally out of the bag.

Amanda got a little emotional about the amazing moment and reflected on how she loves that she is able to be herself on the show.

She talked about joining the show and said, “We are in a business and a town when you are being scrutinized so much, you have to play the game. It’s really dope when you can just come to a space where there are four women I get along with on and off-screen. We have different personalities, different points of views, but that’s the world that’s how it is.”

As many of you know, Tamar Braxton was one of the original co-hosts that started off on “The Real back in 2013. Unfortunately, she parted ways with the show after the second season.

Over the years, guests hosts would come on to the show, but Amanda is the first person to be announced as an official co-host since Tamar’s departure from the show.

Congrats again to Amanda on the new gig!
