Yesterday, we reported to you all that Johnny Depo’s wife, Amber Heard has filed for divorce just three days after his mother died. That seemed a little harsh, I mean, why kick a man while he’s down? Well, now, TMZ is exclusively reporting that in addition to a divorce, Heard has filed for a restraining order against Depp, citing that her husband has been abusing her.
Heard showed up to court today with her lawyer, Samantha Spector, along with photos illustrating her claims of physical abuse. She claims that Depp assaulted her throughout the course of their 15-month marriage and alleges that wound that is evident in the photo shown below is from Depp smashing an iPhone on her face. The actress also alleges that Depp offered her hush money, but she offered him a divorce instead.
Now, heard has requested a temporary restraining order, because she believes that there is immediate threat to her life. However, Depp has been promoting his new movie Alice In Wonderland: Through The Looking Glass since Wednesday. Nevertheless, his attorney showed up on his behalf today.
