Singer Amina Buddafly recently revealed that she’s relocated to Germany to live with family. The ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star instantly sparked concerns from fans, and before long fans were asking Amina about Peter Gunz. In 2018, the former couple shared their amicable divorce on social media. Amina Reveals She Relocated To Germany Due To Financial Struggles
As mentioned, Amina slid on TikTok to share a vulnerable update with fans, saying, “Guess what? We don’t have a home y’all.” She filmed her video while lying in a bed with her daughters nearby. It was day one of living with her people after dividing her belongings in Los Angeles between the trash and storage. About 80% of her things went to the dump, she said. Also, Amina admitted that she’s been struggling financially for the last few years, despite working hard.
“We’re going to be here until I figure it out because I will, as I always do, but the last couple years have been so rough. Working my butt off, not making enough money. End up losing my place and now we’re staying with family until I can figure out what’s next.”
As for what’s next, the singer said she has no idea. “I needed to freaking clear my head so I could come up with a plan,” Amina added in the video. She said they’re happy, healthy, and that she’s looking forward to all the opportunities out there. “Sometimes losing something is only taking you to the next place that you’re meant to be. Peter Gunz Says He Has Sent Amina Buddafly “Thousands” Of Dollars
Soon after Amina shared her financial fall, the internet brought Peter Gunz into the mix. He hopped on Threads, slightly calling out Amina for bringing her situation to the internet.
“Really thought we gave the world enough of our private life, however, the show must go on,” Peter wrote before promoting a live to address her video.
As promised, Peter later hopped on live. In clips captured by Live Bitez, he opened up about sending Amina money, paying for flights, and more. He also called her out directly and said he wasn’t comfortable letting their daughters leave for Germany, given the risk that she might not be allowed back into the U.S. with political tensions and travel bans. Still, he supported her decision by plugging her with his family there, and purchasing round-trip flights for her and the kids.
“I love my kids, bro. My kids could never be homeless. I have an apartment in Dallas. I said Amina, go stay in Dallas, that’s it,” Peter said, alleging Amina questioned what she would do in Dallas. “‘Live rent free,'” he emphasized.
Peter also said he sends Amina thousands of dollars and anything she asks for monthly. He said the issue is that she couldn’t meet her financial responsibilities.
“I had no idea that she was going to lead the world thinking that she was homeless. I bought a round-trip ticket. They come back on the 23rd of August, and it’s just like I feel so f**ked up. I feel a little betrayed.”
Singer Clarifies Peter’s Assistance With Her Situation
With Peter speaking out as the internet was coming for his head, Amina Buddafly also clarified that he has stepped in to help her. She said that despite his track record, he stepped up to help her amid the financial issues from the last two years. Additionally, she admitted that she would’ve been in her current situation a year ago without him.
“He’s been there for us, he’s been holding us down in the past…I wanna say almost two years, a year and a half is when I started struggling crazy, not able to cover my overhead, my bills, my rent and he stepped up and I’m very thankful for him.”
Amina also clarified that despite being broke financially, she’s mentally doing well and caring for herself. She also said that Peter Gunz didn’t make her post the clarification, and that they hadn’t spoken. Swipe to the second slide below to see her response.
