Amy Luciani Shares Exclusive Statement About Dwight Howard Break-Up
Luciani confirmed to The Shade Room that the split “is true,” but explained that she’s unsure how the public learned about it. As of Wednesday, the rapper still has “Howard” in her Instagram bio.
“Although it is true, I am not sure how it got out to the public. Still wrapping my head around a lot. Although I know it won’t happen, I hope the public can give us grace and privacy right now,” Amy Luciani told TSR on July 8.
In TSR’s comment section, initial reactions reached over 4,000 in about 24 hours. Let’s just say the section was in shambles with differing opinions. Some, like Raymond Santana, one of the exonerated five, weighed in with “Damn…” Meanwhile, others commented on old rumors about Dwight Howard’s sexual preferences. One IG user, @leondra, said the couple was “doing too much to begin with…it always gave performative.” She added that she’s “not surprised” the relationship ended.
As reported, the public first learned about Amy Luciani and Dwight Howard’s relationship back in December. At the time, Lil Scrappy filmed them inside a nightclub, and revealed in text that they tied the knot. She reacted to the spotlight Scrap put them in by sharing a carousel post of memories with Howard, from hand-holding to praying moments.
“I’m just thankful, happy and ready for everything that’s coming our way. I prayed reallllll deep on a Thursday not knowing 2 days later God would send me a Bible totin, tattood giant with the same heart as me,” Amy Luciani wrote about Dwight Howard back then.

Amy Shuts Down Allegations Of Being After Dwight’s Money
On Wednesday, Amy circled to her IG page to address the buzzing comments about her relationship’s end. She clocked rumors that she secured the ring to get to Dwight’s big bag! She admitted that it’s “hard to watch this narrative spreading quickly” about her, and warned it’ll be her one time speaking out.
“I til this day have never asked him for single dollar. Not 30 cents. Before we married, I told him I want to sign a prenupt because I belive what you worked for is yours and I’m not the type of woman to take what’s not mine. I mentioned a prenup first!! He declined. I do not want any of his assets. I do not want half of anything that he has earned or obtained before me.”
Luciani continued in the written statements, swearing off his properties, businesses, and cars. She emphasized that some women, like herself, were in the marriage for love. What led their love to fizzle out? That, she didn’t clarify. “These rumors do not align with my character,” she added in her statement, and then shut down the “gold digger” talks in the caption.
“The value I add cannot be bought. I rather build the empire with you. You ever met a gold digger who went her entire relationship without asking for a penny & asked for a prenuptial agreement & doesn’t want any part of his assets when it ends. oh okay. I won’t bother asking for privacy. This is the internet so I’ll accept the good with the bad. Right now is just a bad moment but God oversees it all and this too shall pass.”
