Angel Reese Opens Up About Her Relationship With G Herbo
On Thursday, September 5, the first episode of Reese’s podcast ‘Unapologetically Angel’ was released via YouTube. About 30 minutes into the episode, Reese’s co-host, Maya Reese, asked the WNBA baller about the viral footage of her and G Herbo. As The Shade Room previously reported, Reese was spotted in Chicago, sitting in the passenger seat of G Herbo’s car in June.
The sighting immediately prompted some social media users to believe the pair were dating.

“When I tell you, I can call G Herbo to this day — that’s somebody that if I ever need anything in Chicago… he’ll make sure I’m straight,” Reese explained.
The 22-year-old added that Herbo’s gesture wasn’t made with any intentions of flirting. Furthermore, she explained that on the night she was spotted with the rapper, her friends were also in the car, in the backseat.
“And that was that,” she said. “I mean, you didn’t see me in the car kissing this man. So where’d y’all get that from?… That’s somebody I can literally call anytime…”

The WNBA Star Speaks On Speculation She Took A Baecation With Jalen Duren
As the conversation continued, Reese was also asked about speculation that she recently vacationed with NBA baller Jalen Duren. As The Shade Room previously reported, social media believed the pair took a vacation together in July. At the time, social media posts appeared to show they were both in the same tropical location.

“I can’t go on vacation with my cousin?” Reese asked humorously. “…Nah, that’s not my cousin but [yeah,] I’m taking a trip. I’m 22 years old, and I’m allowed to date and be able to have a good time.”
Reese seemingly explained that if she wanted the world to know her location at the time, she would have shared it. So she believes the speculation was an invasion of her privacy. Nonetheless, Reese explained that she was grateful to have “time away” and she “just was there for a good time.”
Earlier in the episode, Reese also spoke about her relationship with her famed WNBA rival, Caitlin Clark, explaining that there’s no real “beef” between them.
