Angela Simmons Discusses Her Lack Of Dating Life In “Growing Up Hip Hop” Clip—“It’s A Dry Earth”

If you watch WE TV’s hit series “Growing Up Hip Hop” you probably know that Angela Simmons has been pretty open in regards to her dating life—or lack thereof. Recently, she and her big sister Vanessa Simmons were talking about dating and Angela definitely doesn’t have high hopes these days.

Vanessa asked Angela what’s going on with her dating life at the moment and Angela promptly replied with “nothing.” Angela then noted just how dry the dating scene is, stating that it’s specifically “a dry earth.” The two sisters then threw out a few dating suggestions to get Angela back on track.

Vanessa told her that she had someone in mind that she might actually really like and connect with, however Angela wasn’t so sure and instead suggested speed dating. Her big sister didn’t seem to be a fan of the idea, but indulged her anyway.

It’s good to see Angela trying to start fresh when it comes to her love life, as things recently got pretty intense when Romeo Miller addressed the real reason the two are no longer close or pursuing a relationship.

Romeo recently posted this on social media:

“I’m not one to entertain gossip but it sucks when people play with my faith. So I’ma leave this here one time. Faith isn’t about being perfect (or judgment) but more so about showing / spreading your light in hopes to help others. Without saying too much, Yes I get things were edited a certain way, but simply read between the lines. Shoutout to the fan who posted this clip, because I’ve been nothing but respectful and although we do have our differences, I will never unfriend someone over what they post on social media.”

“The context of me and V [Vanessa] convo was more so about every ACTION having a REACTION and being able to live with that. That’s life. We all have free will and we all are constantly changing. As far as Me and Ang (just like others in my life), we haven’t been close in years, and I refuse to live a lie on tv. The silver lining, the thing I like about this show @guhh_wetv is that the viewer can learn so many life gems without having to go through it.”

You can catch “Growing Up Hip Hop” Thursday nights at 9PM on WE TV.
