Anthony Edwards has reportedly filed a paternity suit against his ex-girlfriend, Alexandria Desroches, amid his ongoing child support battle with Ayesha Howard.

More Details On Anthony Edwards’ Reported Paternity Suit Against His Ex-Girlfriend Alexandria Desroches
On Wednesday, March 26, In Touch Weekly published an exclusive report asserting that Edwards brought Desroches to court “over paternity and child support.” Per the outlet, Edwards filed a petition on March 21, “revealing he is the father to a child with Alexandria.”
Additionally, Edwards alleged that Desroches currently lives in New York with their child, a 1-year-old boy named Amir. Per Edwards, however, Amir was allegedly conceived and born in Georgia. Furthermore, “all interactions” between himself and Desroches allegedly occurred in Georgia. Lastly, he reportedly noted that Desroches did not move to New York until their son was a “few months old.”
Per the outlet, Edwards reportedly asked the court to establish his paternity of Amir and child support.
Anthony Edwards’ Girlfriend Has Weighed In On Him Welcoming Kids With Other Woman
As The Shade Room previously reported, Anthony Edwards’ girlfriend, Shannon Jackson, seemingly addressed chatter about him welcoming kids with other women in October 2024. To note, Jackson shares a young daughter named Aislynn with Edwards, per US Weekly.
“Can I say this? Y’all just finding out…This fake outrage you are having, pull your panties out of your bunch… what y’all want me to do?” she told social media users in part during a livestream.

Alexandria Desroches is not the only one wrapped up in a child support and custody battle with Anthony Edwards. As The Shade Room previously reported, in October 2024, Ayesha Howard, who also shares a son with rapper Lil Baby, welcomed a baby girl.
In December of that year, Edwards’ paternity of the child was reportedly confirmed, per The Shade Room. Then, by February, Edwards reportedly asserted that he was not “seeking child custody or visitation” with the child.
“Therefore, the only issues to be resolved are financial in nature,” he reportedly asserted, per In Touch Weekly.
Per Daily Mail, Edwards is 23 years old and has amassed more than $44 million in salary from his NBA career. Furthermore, he reportedly signed a five-year, $244 million extension with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2023. Per In Touch Weekly, Edwards was also involved in a custody battle over a child named Aris with Daja Carlyle. US Weekly reports that Carlyle welcomed Edward’s first child.
