Antonio Brown Posts Formal Apology To New England Patriots Owner Robert Kraft— “I Apologize Sincerely”

Following months of off-the-field antics after being released from the New England Patriots mere days after being signed to a contract, wide receiver Antonio Brown just recently posted an apology to team owner Robert Kraft.

Initially after being let go from the team, Antonio Brown seemed to be focusing his energy on other things, such as returning to college, but now it appears that he is using his time off to reflect on his past behavior. If you’ll recall, the Patriots released Antonio on September 20th, which was only 11 days after they signed him to a multi-million contract.

Two days later, Antonio slammed both Kraft and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for their legal issues in contrast to how his own legal issues were treated by the NFL organization.

Antonio brought up Kraft’s ongoing legal troubles in Florida, where he is charged with solicitation for allegedly receiving a sex act at a massage parlor. He also pointed out Roethlisberger’s four-game suspension back in 2010 for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy based on a sexual assault accusation.

Well now, Antonio is singing a new tune and posted this message to Kraft on Twitter:

“Mr.Kraft I apologize sincerely to you and your organization! All I wanted to be was an asset to the organization; sorry for the bad media and the drama ! Thank you sincerely AB”

Antonio’s apology comes just after his meeting last week with the NFL to address the sexual assault allegations against him. The meeting reportedly lasted about eight hours–and there could be additional meetings before a decision is made about his future in the NFL.
