Looks like there might be trouble in Beats paradise as Apple recalls over 200,000 Beats by Dre Pill XL speakers.
The recall came in after complaints came in about the pill overheating and even catching fire at times. One person alleged their finger was burnt while another says the battery overheating caused damage to his desk, talk about some fire music!!
Apple urges customers to exchange or return their speakers through giving incentives such a $325 refund or store credit as well as sending out free boxes to customers who wish to mail the product back.
Beats by Dre was bought by Apple last year for $3 billion and the speakers were sold worldwide starting in January 2014.
