Streamer Deshae Frost first sparked the conversation of a collaboration when he spilled unheard details during a live stream. While chatting with his fans, he casually said his mom-manager hit him up about a potential cameo in a music video featuring none other than Ice Spice and Latto.
“They said Latto and Ice Spice want me to be in their music video today, at 4 pm in Atlanta,” he said.
Deshae mentioned he was torn about going due to his packed schedule, but seemed to make up his mind, saying, “I gotta go back earlier, get a haircut, and then go do that, bro. Meanwhile, clips that were believed to be leaked song snippets started floating around on X. In one snippet, Latto kicks things off with her signature flow before Ice Spice slides in with her verse.
Apple Music confirmed that the leaked audio was from the official track as the snippets blew up online. The streaming platform first had a 30-second preview of the track on Wednesday night, and it’s now expected to drop on August 5.
