Ari Fletcher Opens Up About Experiencing Postpartum Depression After Giving Birth To Her & G Herbo’s Son

Ari Fletcher is normally very open about her life and shares many of her experiences with her fans. From her day to day adventures, to her relationships, Ari is as real and raw as it gets. She recently took to Instagram to open up about struggling with a condition that many mothers experience after childbirth–postpartum depression.

As y’all know, Ari gave birth to her and G Herbo‘s son Yosohn almost three years ago, and her pregnancy was certainly not the easiest. Social media showered Ari with encouraging words after Herbo got arrested just one day before their baby shower and was unable to attend.

Nevertheless, Ari pushed through, but says her son was her main inspiration for getting through such a dark time in her life.

“I was living in Chicago in a condo and I was so depressed. In this moment, I felt like all I had was my son,” she wrote. “My whole word was falling apart, I was at such a low point in my life I thought it was over for me. I couldn’t see past whatever was outside this window.”

But I used to play this song for my son when he would cry and it made him so calm. I was going through postpartum depression but I knew I could never give up on my baby. Something about this moment helped my mind see something bigger….anytime I feel weak, empty, sad or whatever unpleasant way that I can feel I come back to this video and it reminds me that it’s not over…,” Ari continued.

Ari has always been proud to be a mother, and she is not shy about showing off her baby boy! Recently, she even sparked some rumors that she may have another bun in the oven after posting a video about her friends going to buy a pregnancy test.
