It looks like Ariana Grande will be returning to our television screens, but this time she will be a judge on the hit singing series “The Voice.”
She took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the exciting news and said, “Surprise !!! I am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton next season ~ season 21 of The Voice!” She will be coming on the show to replace Nick Jonas as a judge.
Entertainment Tonight reports that that the upcoming season will mark Kelly, John, and Blake’s sixth season together, meanwhile, the fourth judge chair has been rotated between Nick Jonas and Gwen Stefani.

According to Variety, Ariana continued to express her excitement to be joining the show and said in a statement, “I’m so honored and excited to join ‘The Voice’ family!” I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists, and help to take their craft to the next level.”
John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Kelly Clarkson all shared Ariana’s post to their Instagram stories as they welcomed her to the team.
Blake said, “Welcome to the coach fam.”
While Kelly said, “Next season we are bringing ya’ll some powerful female energy.”
The new season of “The Voice” premieres this fall.
