Roommates, Travis Scott is currently in the middle of a major firestorm following the tragedy of his Astroworld festival that claimed the lives of 10 people, injured dozens of others and has resulted in several billion-dollar lawsuits—and now he has a new problem. Travis Scott’s artist Malu Trevejo, recently took to social media to demand that he let her out of her contract or she will expose some behind-the-scenes tea.
Posting to her Instagram stories, Malu Trevejo called out Travis Scott and it appears that she is definitely not happy and wants to sever all ties with him immediately, writing:
“@traviscott let me out of the contract. Really don’t wanna expose the behind scenes s**t so just let me out of it!!!!! Like whyyyy trying to hold me when you denied everything let me gooooo!!!!!!!!! Nowwwwwwww.”
However she wasn’t done, as a few hours later she hopped on Instagram live to further address why she wants out of her contract, calling the “whole situation weird.”
As we previously reported, not only will Travis Scott not make his return to the stage via a headlining show at Coachella in 2022—apparently the music festival’s organizers don’t even want him to perform for free.
Following Coachella’s producer Goldenvoice officially dropping Travis Scott as the headliner for its April 2022 three-day festival, Travis’ booking agent Cara Lewis, reportedly presented the offer that he would instead perform for free…but that offer was quickly declined.
