The internet seems to think Ashanti might have another bun in the oven thanks to her recent onstage appearance with Nelly.
Chileeee! Ashanti has social media chattin’ after The Shade Room dropped footage of her and Nelly’s New Year’s Eve performance. In the clip, the couple matched in all-black to ring in the New Year. Nelly spotted Ashanti with a drink, joking, “Hey, what are you doing? What is that?” Ashanti quickly told the crowd, “It’s water.”
But what led the internet detectives to investigate was the video showing Ashanti keeping her hands on her stomach. Her actions sparked rumors that baby number two might be on the way. However, neither of the lovebirds has confirmed or denied the buzz at the moment.

As The Shade Room previously shared, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes spoke on baby number two rumors after Nelly’s Black and White Ball in St. Louis in December.
Bossip caught up with the couple at the event, and journalist Damon Arnold asked if they were getting ready for another baby, recalling how he predicted their first child.
Ashanti quickly shut it down with, “Listen, don’t do that,” while Nelly just grinned and said, “Imma stay quiet.”
